It's been a fantastic ride, but all rides have to end sometime: From our director: Today is a sad day for the SJ Vagabonds. At practice today we decided that due to the loss of some members, and the inability to gain new members that it is not possible for us to continue operations. So we have ceased all operations and are going into the process of disbanding the Corps. It has been quite a great ride these past 18 years, as small as we are we have won numerous mini corps championships and have been a favorite at many parades these past 18 years. The one I am most proud of is being the 2012 Buglers Hall of Fame North American National Mini Corps Champions. Those of us who stuck it out with the Corps are sad this day has come, but knew it was time to end what has been a great ride with the Mighty small corps. I started this Corps knowing there was a need to keep our art form going and for 18 years accomplished that, its been a great ride but as all rides they have to end sometime and now is our time. It's been my pleasure to have worked with and know all that have played with the Vagabonds and the other corps who supported us in our endeavors. Thank you all. Joe Basciani Director SJ Vagabonds
